Arts Management and Representation
A native of Austria, Carmen has managed, represented, and provided consultation to a wide variety of international artists and arts/media organizations for more than 20 years.
Fluent in four languages, she has organized and coordinated major events, conferences, and concert series around the world, including Australia, Austria, Canada, Italy, Morocco, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.
Her focus, passion, and limitless energy are attributes that have endeared her to a wide range of performing and visual arts clients, from international soloists to chamber music ensembles, from Festivals to Gala events. Carmen is also dedicated to the visual arts, representing photographers, artists, and special events.
Based in southern California, Carmen's accomplishments include co-producing one of the first concerts held at the landmark Disney Center in Los Angeles, and co-producing one of the region's most acclaimed bi-annual arts festivals.
A graduate of the prestigious University of Vienna, Carmen earned a Masters Degree in musicology and theater arts, and also pursued related studies at the Universities of Bologna, Florence, and Naples.
Carmen is President Emerita of the San Diego Performing Arts League, the headquarter organization of Performing Arts ensembles in San Diego, CA, and has been nominated for the 2010 Dee Warford-Kutch Volunteer Administrator's Award for outstanding services in volunteer management.
